Akshay Kumar Yadav — Closing Segment

The Managing Director’s close — the last thing said in the company film.

The brief

Akshay Kumar Yadav’s closing piece to camera. The close is the segment that decides whether a company film ends on an ask or just stops, which is why it is cut and stored as its own file rather than left inside the timeline.

The constraint

Written up in the case study this artifact belongs to.

The film is fifty-nine seconds — deliberately under the minute that most platforms treat as the short-form boundary — and it is horizontal, which is the least accommodating orientation for the social surfaces it eventually has to feed. Both constraints are recorded in the delivery name. Working inside them means the modularity has to be designed at the edit, because it certainly cannot be retrofitted from a flattened export.

How it was made

  1. Marked in the source folder as the closing segment, held separately from the body of the film.

Tools

We hold the finished file, not the shot-by-shot production record. Rather than list a model or a tool we cannot evidence for this specific piece, we list nothing — ask and we will walk you through exactly how it was built.

What shipped

The delivery record, and only what we can evidence. “Not recorded” means the archive does not carry it — we are not going to estimate it for you.

Concept

Every piece here is labelled Concept. That is not modesty — it is accuracy. Which of these were paid client engagements has not been confirmed in writing, and we will not label something client work on a guess.

Concept work is made by us to show the craft. It was not commissioned, and no brand or organisation shown in it endorsed or paid for it. What the labels mean
